Kony 2012 Video is Misleading

if not, you can read the looooooong post below, it's from the video above, i spared my time to pause and type whatever this youtuber said, yeh, I'm bored, so I might as well do something right. I dont like to waste my time just doing all this, but I think it's worth it...

The youtuber (Sanyu) who made the video above is 100% Ugandan.
Ok what she said, she went there from time to time, from her last visit (in the summer of 2010) and they experienced Al-Qaeda terrorist and NOT from the LRA. After Sanyu watched "Kony 2012" she immediately called her mom, her mom said that Joseph Kony died five years ago (I believe this is a possible rumour though, but this proves that not many Ugandan know of him and whereabouts, doesn't this seemed plausible?) Ok, Sanyu said that Kony's army was formed 22 years ago (when sanyu's parents lived in Uganda) The LRA did their worst over 10 years ago and they havent struck again in the past SIX years. So.. why is this video put up now?

Ok maybe the whole thing is to stop Kony, another national government interfering this issue and they have been since 2008. AND they still have yet to find Kony. Sanyu also stated that there were rumours of Kony's dead and that he's not in Uganda. so... even if they have military groups searching for Kony in Uganda, but the fact may be that he's not IN UGANDA...what are they doing?

Sanyu also said that she was quite impressed by the video "Kony 2012", the quality, the editing- it was very...hi-tech. So she looked into the Invincible Children (IC), and found out that they make over 13 million dollars a year as a company and 31% of the donations actually goes to the Causes. The donations sent by the IC would have to go the Ugandan military to help fight off Kony. But if Kony is not in Uganda, the Ugandan military can't cross into other territories...so what do they do?

Sanyu always contacted her brother (who never left Uganda) and her grandmothers (when they still lived in Uganda), and every single time she had been there (uganda and she always stays there for months at a time) not once do they ever mention Kony so...why are they making it seemed like Uganda is hell because of Kony?  Sanyu said: because it's not!

So...Kony 2012, isn't giving you the correct information. Before you go out and go like: Stop KONY 2012! you should probably educate yourself. You should base is of ONE youtube video that a guy makes 90 THOUSAND dollars a year for making these videos. He doesnt make it because he flies around the country and feels bad and decides that he's gonna sit at home and make this fantastic video in hopes that he can make the world a better place. NO! He is making a great living out of this.

Its great if you wanna send donations anywhere for any causes but you should probably do that to somewhere more trustworthy. What happened to the other movement?the aids movement, the Red movement that kinda just moves away? And now what's gonna happen? How long is this gonna last? Are we gonna care about Kony until we actually get him?...or is it gonna take something else to go on, because there is something else goin on right now and you would know...if you watch the news, that Syria is way more extreme than what's going on or what has went on when Kony was striking..

Well the people who started all this (kony 2012) is making a lot, a lot, a lot of money out of this. so...go educate yourself. Uganda is a fun place! wooots~
